1) Canyon Overlook: Popular with photographers, Canyon Overlook is a short trail running a mile roundtrip with a slight elevation. Hikers will find amazing vistas as the trail opens onto a wide view of the Zion Canyon.
2) Grotto Trail: At just over a mile roundtrip, the Grotto Trail is another ideal trek for beginners. Hikers get a glimpse of some of the park’s spectacular canyons while walking from the Grotto picnic area to the Zion Lodge.
3) Kayenta Trail: Located in one of the most popular parts of the park, this trail runs along the west wall of the canyon between Big Bend and the Emerald Pools. Short and easy, the trail affords wonderful views of the Emerald Pools, which are especially beautiful in the spring.
